We have great success in exporting over 90% of our product to the United States of America. As the demand for our product is so high in the USA we have appointed a couple of distributors.

The company was established in 1978, as a small family business by Ivan Albins. Albins Off Road Gear now employs 50+ dedicated and talented people who strive to produce the finest quality components for the toughest applications. The company is a market leader and has developed an excellent reputation within the motor sport industry.

The product that put us on the map was Volkswagen gears. These gears have been re-designed to be stronger than the standard to withstand the pressure of competitive racing. We are capable of manufacturing the ‘one off’ components to suit the particular individual. We offer the biggest range in ratios for the VW enthusiast. Once we started with Volkswagen gears there was no turning back.

There was a demand out there for transmission components of all makes and models to be redesigned and manufactured.
Other varieties of gear kits we manufacture are Porsche, Subaru, BMW, Honda, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Renault, Nissan, Mazda, Suzuki and Daihatsu.
Albins Off Road Gear is also renowned for our heavy duty transaxles which have been custom designed for off-road racing enthusiasts and professionals, a specialist product experiencing significant success in
the US market.

We have more recently started manufacturing Crown
Wheel and Pinion Sets. We have a unique design that
is proving to withstand the pressure of huge horse
powered engines.
